(New York,NY January 30, 2019) – Lan of Fashion is excited to announce that Lawrence Chang, an emerging designer, will be debuting his new line during their Lan of Fashion Runway Showcase™ New York Fashion Week F/W ’19 on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Project Farmhouse, 76 E. 13th St., New York, NY 10003.
Chang, a New York based conceptual designer focuses his work on developing new structures of garments and reinventing the wheel. Born and raised in Taiwan, he was always fascinated with understanding how things are made and how they could be further improved.
Chang got his passion in the fashion industry when he started his fashion career working as a pattern making apprentice. Through the years, he has constantly evolved and has since developed a unique approach to his pattern making. He focuses on his designs being inspired by the world around him, pulling influences from biology, traditional crafts and social movements with an amusing twist.
Landerman Evra, Executive Producer for Lan of Fashion stated, “We are thrilled to bring on Lawrence for this the fall/winter NY Fashion Week show. His innovative designs and willingness to adapt makes him a standout designer. I am excited to see his designs come to life on stage for the first time. The showcase will last until approximately 8 p.m. and will include designs from multiple international and United States based designers and will feature live musical performances by JOOL.
